Handicap calculator

The calculator works out the crew's H-factor in the Mix/masters 8+ class, where all rowers must be at least 27 years old. It follows the document H-Faktor i Copenhagen Harbour Race (rev. 6, in Danish), which point 5 of the rules refers to.

For each rower the H-factor is found from gender and age. The crew's H-factor is the average of the rowers' factors. Multiplied by the rowed time, it gives the corrected time, which the crews are ranked by.

Enter each rower's year of birth. The age that counts is the age the rower turns in the year of the race, 2026, so everyone born in the same year counts as the same age. Each rower uses the row for their age group, i.e. the age rounded down to the nearest age in the table: 27 uses 25, 34 uses 30, and 80 and over uses 80. The cox is not counted. The calculator is for guidance only.
