Race Course

Line-up: Before start all boats are required to line up at the area North of "Langebro" bridge, where the boats will be called to start.

Start: The "Nykredit" building0 km

Out: The boats row South under the "Bryggebroen" bridge towards ‘Slusen/the Lock’ along the Zealand (West) side of the harbour.

U-turn: At ’Slusen/the Lock’ the boats make a large 180° U-turn dictated by three buoys. No overtaking from the "No-overtaking" buoy approx. 75 meters before the turn (see Rules, point 3).

Back: The boats return North toward the finish line along the ‘Amager’ (East) side of the harbour.

Finish: The "Nykredit" building6.5 km in total

Navigation – shallow areas in the harbour

Along the course there are three very shallow areas. It is very important that the crew and especially the cox know where those areas are located. This applies for coaches as well who wish to follow the crew during warm up. Please study the areas on the photos below (click to enlarge).
